The Museum of Danish America a is seeking a part-time manager for the Genealogy Department of the Museum’s Genealogy & Education Center in Elk Horn.  Responsibilities include management of day-to-day operations, coordinating research and translation services for patrons and managing volunteer schedules and projects. The successful candidate must have prior management or supervisory experience, excellent technology skills, including office software applications and social media; ability to meet deadlines and perform detailed work with accuracy; ability to structure one’s own work schedule and work independently; strong written and oral communication skills, including devotion to delivering quality customer service. Applicants with proven experience in genealogy research will be given preference.
