Join us on Sunday, October 1st, from 6-8 pm to kickoff
the 2023 Iowa Museum Association Annual Conference at the German American
Heritage Center and Museum in downtown Davenport, Iowa. Snacks, appetizers, and
beverages will be provided. Optional activities include a modified version of
the “Haunted Walking Tour” around an historic neighborhood at 6:30, and a
guided tour of the permanent exhibition, “The German Immigrant Experience” at
7:15. Space is limited for both activities, you must register for the conference and add either or both to your itinerary when registering. Enjoy friendship, mingling, and impressive views of the Mississippi

We will divide our day Monday between the Figge Art Museum and the Putnam Museum. From key speakers, to breakout sessions, to informal networking opportunities, you'll have an opportunity to enjoy both museums, learn, and mingle with colleagues. Lunch Monday will be at the Figge Art Museum.

We'll be hosted across the river in the beautiful learning spaces of the WIU-Quad Cities Museum Studies Program. With views overlooking the mighty Mississippi River, it may be hard to concentrate on our key speaker, breakout sessions, and opportunities to meet with industry businesses and colleagues.
The
annual meeting of the members of the Iowa Museum Association will take
place on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Noon during the annual conference.
